If we love our enemies, humble ourselves and hold our peace the Lord will lift us up and fight our battles for us and through us.

Jesus said we are to love our enemies in St Matthew 5:44. We can only love our enemies as God enables us and we choose to release our anger and desire or lust for revenge, retribution and allow God to purge our hearts of unforgiveness, bitterness and strife.

You know you have forgiven when you can remember the person, persons or the situation and no longer feel the pain and hurt. God by His Spirit will allow you to experience His emotions towards your enemy and show you how to pray for them. God really wants to live in us and manifest His love to those who are needy and hurting, as He knows hurting people hurt other people.

God is love, justice and truth personified and knows what is best for all of us including our enemies. He is therefore actively engaged in working things out according to His plans and purposes for our lives. What consolation!

I am beginning to see that true spiritual warfare is to love God and man and especially our enemies unconditionally. There is no weopon against love when we love we are in a position to hear and obey  God's instructions momentarily, our obedience to God  baffles our enemies and immobilizes and sets the boundaries of thier operation.

Let us consider Job and remember that as God's children,we also have a blessed assurance that nothing can happen to us that God does not allow, nothing can happen with out God's knowledge and permission. God has not planned any defeat for us.

Recently i came to also see that there are more angels asssigned to us than there any amount of demons can be at any time. These angels excel in strength and encamp around us because we fear the lord and there are more with us than that are against us.
